Civika Social Impact Catalysts
Inspired by AIM's MDM Impact Leadership Lab, the Civika Impact Adviser Community is an experiment towards harnessing the collective potential of development advocates and students across Asia.
Scalable development impact in the 21st century is complex, trans-disciplinary, and tech-enabled. As a neural network of development professionals, we intend to unlock the collective intelligence and social capital of 1,000+ Social Impact Advisers who influence hundreds of organizations.
Through small, lightweight, and agile teams, we aim to become a platform for co-creating solutions and professional opportunities for Social Impact Advisers.
Development professionals are invited to form Shared Interest Groups(SIGs) based on convergent interests along SDGs, problem spaces, technologies, strategies, or geographic areas. Adapted from alumni engagement programs in other universities, SIGs allow us to continue sharing ideas and finding allies.
This is an initiative of the Civika Asian Development Academy, a social enterprise that aims to advance leadership, innovation, and social impact through 1 million changemakers.
